Hi, I’m Diana from Vietnam. I would like to tell you about my life in GITC for 12 weeks. To be honest, it was a good time to connect to myself… to practice self -awareness and discover many basic things that I used to believe in the wrong way.
First of all, I want say “Thank You” to all of my teachers who tried their best to teach me. They pushed me to study hard and were available to help me in all cases. They were especially conscientious and focused on my weaknesses in speaking because I had problems with pronunciation and sounded like I was eating the end sounds of words, so they spent time to correct my mistakes and taught me how to organize my answers. I think that was the reason why I got 6.5 in Speaking. During this time also, I had a big concern in my family, but they gave me advice and shared their experiences to help me overcome my situation.
The materials and the lessons that I studied were suitable for my level and were useful in preparing for the test. The cross-cultural learning environment in this school is a good factor for students like me to understand the different lifestyles of people in other countries or in other areas of Vietnam. Consequently, I became more mature and more confident at the end of my study term.
